Summer Concert Band - Percussion (6th to 8th grade)

10:00 am - 10:45 am

Students attending this class will focus on learning additional skills and techniques on their respected instruments. The primary means of instruction will focus on the individual as well as within the context of the group. In addition to these skills, participants will continue learning valuable performance practices for a small ensemble. The class will conclude with a performance at the end of the summer session in conjunction with the other small ensemble classes. Music and music stands will be provided for the duration of this class.

Ukulele Music Camp (Session 1)

11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Students in this camp will get the introduction to Ukulele by learning some of their favorite Pixar songs including: “Lava,” “Riptide,” “Stitches,” & “I’m Yours.” This song-driven curriculum will keep students engaged along with our interactive camp exercises that teach them the basics about pitch, tempo and rhythm.

Camp Broadway

12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Camp Broadway is perfect for teenagers who enjoy musical theatre; participate in school or community stage productions; and/or dream of performing on a main stage! Through master classes, one on one vocal coaching, choreography with Sarah Horrigan-Ramos, and exciting broadway-related activities games (including tips for auditions), students will learn how to shine in the spotlight while discovering the joys of Broadway musicals! On the last day of camp, students will sing, dance, and act in their very own Broadway Highlights performance!
