Creative Movement (Age 3)

This ballet class is for the littlest dancers. This class helps introduce basic movement and coordination in addition to help teach classroom etiquette.

Music Builders- Ages 5 & 6 (Session 2)

4:15 pm - 5:00 pm

Students will have fun learning the beginning symbols, sounds, and expressions in music! Through songs and activities, every student will have an understanding how music works.  Students will get to experience new musical instruments, explore musical concepts, and discover how music is found in every day life.

4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Students will expand upon artistic skills and vocabulary by working with a variety of media around students with similar interests. We will be learning, discussing, and applying concepts with associated with art and design in a collaborative setting. Students taking this class will be encouraged to make critical choices regarding their works and to expand upon their media of choice.

Students will learn and practice proper ballet technique and vocabulary with emphasis on strength, flexibility, body isolation's, musicality, rhythmic development, and artistic style.

Group Guitar (Session 2)

5:15 pm - 6:00 pm

Students in this class will basic guitar techniques through famous riffs from songs like: "Smoke on the Water", "TNT", and "Brain Stew".  Students will also learn open chords and strumming patterns through Popular Artists like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Adele. Students will also learn some exciting Blockbuster Hits from their favorite movies, TV shows and Video games.

Painting: Ages 11 & up

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Students in this class will be working at an individualized pace to experiment with different techniques of painting. Each student will be encouraged to try at least two contrasting styles, in addition to painting via observation. Art historical references will be provided and students are encouraged to draw from outside sources as well as each other for information. This class will encourage students to work both individually and collaboratively in order to expand upon and improve their artistic voice and knowledge.

Jazz/HH 1A: Ages 9-11

7:00 pm - 7:45 pm

A blend of traditional jazz with current jazz styles. Dancers focus on body isolation's, rhythmic development, terminology, and artistic style through choreography and across the floor combinations. This fun, energetic class combines the techniques of jazz, musical theatre, and hip hop at an appropriate skill level.
