Let your preschooler indulge their imagination with this fun, hands-on class. Students will enjoy a different fairytale and related art project each week. Projects will range from creating medieval costumes to constructing clay pieces. Ages 4 & 5

After School Art - "The Art of Mexico"

Join the fun and "travel" to Mexico in this colorful and creative art class. Children will learn about Mexican culture and artists while creating a variety of projects ranging from clay suns to "bark" paper painting. Students will also construct a class pinata for the Mexican fiesta on the last day of class.

Soft Sculpture Painted Fabric Characters

The class will make "Pumpkins with Personality". What a fun way to celebrate the fall season with creating decorations usable year after year. Explore the soft sculpture concept as well as learn a painting process that has no limits of use with stuffed items. Each person will cut, sew (no experience needed), and paint at least two pumpkins to take home.

Creativity as a Rejuvenation Tool

This workshop explores creativity and the soul using painting, clay, movement, music, meditation and visualization techniques. The activities are designed to draw out your "creative" type to benefit from these ideas - an open mind and willingness to learn is all that is needed. The class will take a Saturday carpooling field trip to Columbus for visits to a cemetery, nature preserve and the Columbus Museum of Art. Student must provide a lined or unlined notebook for journaling and an entrance fee ($6.00) for the Columbus Museum of Art and lunch.
