Beginner Kenpo classes are designed for children with little or no martial arts experience. Classes are focused on the basic building blocks of the arts, including blocks, strikes, punches, kicks, stances, foot maneuvers, basic finger techniques, as well as core sets and forms. Each component stage offers a foundation for ongoing training. This practice, which is designed strictly for self-defense, will help children improve their self-confidence through drills that increase focus, power, speed, and overall physical abilities.

Jason Farnsworth is considered an expert in Kenpo with the following experience:
Jason has over 100 hours of training logged with Mr. Wedlake and hundreds of hours logged Training under Mr. Planas. Past teaching took place at Galligher’s Field of Dreams, November 2006 – September 2007 and Spirit Ohio Sports Academy September 2007 – July 2017.
Jason Farnsworth over the years has been more than my instructor of American Kenpo. He's been an instructor for life as well. I've often said that there are only a handful of people that I would drop what I was doing to go help and he is one of these people. Jason has seen me at my lowest and never judged me, and at my best he continues to push me towards excellence. Excellence in combat and excellence in life. Jason can debate the Martial Arts with the best of them. On the mat he is a leader whose power, speed and control is that of mastery. Off the mat he is my dear friend.
